Oh, how Jillian LOVES to sing!

This is Jilli singing Ba Ba Blacksheep- and it's pretty great if I do say so myself!  She really loves singing, and has an uncanny ability to remember the words to songs (and remember everything else!  haha!)

On other news, we got to go to the doctor for a quick baby check the other day.  The doctor was nice enough to take a quick peek for us with an ultrasound, and said to Jillian, "It looks like the baby is waving at you!"  Jillian ENTHUSIASTICALLY waved back, and was very excited.  When we got home, Jillian patted my belly, gave it a kiss and firmly said, "Baby Liv.... GET OUT!"  I think she's ready for a playmate!  hehe!  Soon enough...

P.S.- At the end of the video, she says, "bye bye Daddy."  I think she thought I was holding the phone out for her to sing rather than filming her with the camera.  Ryan had called just before this, and she had been singing to him...  Sweet baby.  :)

Jillian is 2 years old!

I'm not exactly sure how it happened, but Jillian is already two years old.  Seems really odd to me- like we've never known life without her, yet somehow it's bizarre that she would already have experienced two whole years of life.

Since we had her big party last weekend, we're taking it easy today.  But, I would like to share these photos we had taken, and I'd also like to say this...

Jillian:  You have no idea what a wonderful, amazing, little girl you are.  I honestly feel like the luckiest person in the world to get to call myself your Mom.  You make us laugh and smile more than anyone else on the planet, and you warm our hearts to the very core on a daily basis.  You are, without a doubt, the best thing Daddy and I have ever done (so far- sibling disclaimer!!!)  We love you very, very much.  xox  and Happy Birthday!

What else we've been up to:

On May 16th, Jillian will be turning 2 years old.  Since Ryan will be traveling next weekend, we snuck in a birthday celebration yesterday.  We had been watching the weather all week and were sure we'd be stuck inside because of rain, but we got lucky!  The weather held up, and we were able to celebrate with lots of family and friends!

Ryan's parents, my parents, and my sister were all in town for a visit and Jillian has had such fun with all of them.  It's been busy in our house, but totally worth it!  What fun!

I didn't take many photos of my own yesterday (Surprising, I know) because it's hard to hostess and focus on photos, but I'm promised copies of those other people took, so I'll share more soon.

For now, here are a couple collages of Jillian's "BIG gifts" for her birthday.  She got an awesome bike from a group of our MOMS Club friends, and a Elmo play kitchen from our friends at Sesame Street!   What a lucky little girl!

Jillian's first year baby book!

I have finally published Jillian's baby book from her first year!  I should get it in the mail just in time for her 2nd birthday party!  :) It's been a labor of love for sure...  I have worked hard, so if you happen to see a typo or an error, pretend you don't!  Haha!
