Father's Day, and news story...

Happy Father's Day!

Aside from celebrating our celebrity TV status (haha!) we enjoyed a fun weekend at home. Yesterday Ryan installed a new garbage disposal, and today he cleaned up the yards and mowed the front and the back... I'd say he more than earned the photo book Liv gave him, the card from the girls, and our fun family dinner at TPC Potomac golf course! :)

We had a wonderful day and are so thankful, (everyday) to have Ryan here being the wonderful husband and father he is!

Here are a few photos after dinner tonight... Due to running into another family with a 3 year old, Jillian was NOT into taking pictures... she just wanted to "go play a little bit first". Oh well...

We got a couple photos regardless, and the other mom was nice enough to snap a family shot too... :) Always a plus!

My heart be still....

As you may or may not know, Ryan and I are in the process of planning a move (in about 10 months) to a city about 30 minutes from where we live now. We'll be doing some additions and renovations on the house there, and we've recently been discussing the kitchen...

Specifically, whether or not we need a double sink there.

Although I thought it was a MUST HAVE when we designed the kitchen here, we don't really use it for as much as I thought we would. Further, the existing window at the new house is in such a place that a double sink would have to be slightly off center to work. Hmm... so, it looks like we're leaning toward a nice big/deep single bowl...

But then, this happened:

Aw man, now I don't know what to do!

I suppose at the very least, we'll have to have a few more big sister/ little sister sink moments while we're here, 'cause this is just too cute!

Liv was pretty excited to have her big sis there to play with her...

And Jillian liked it quite a bit too!

We've been busy!

I know it's been awhile since I've posted on here- we've been busy and I feel like I barely have time to sort and edit photos, let alone post any here!

Anyway- I'm thankful for how busy we've been... it's all good stuff!

Our family went to a party today, and while I did coordinate the girls in red and white (it's just too much fun having two girls!) I didn't know just how perfect it would be for the cowgirl hats supplied at the party:
