It has begun!!!

It's been a LONG time in the planning process, but we're finally starting on the construction/renovation of our new home.  We're so excited to begin, that we had to get a little jump start on removing this wall before the demo crew gets to have all the fun!  Haha!

Getting Ready...

Jillian is a girlie-girl.  She loves to get dressed up and always looks forward to an excuse to do so.  For a few events lately, I've curled her hair and now I think I may have created a monster.  She loves "hot curls" and thinks they are the perfect accessory to a pretty outfit.  I happen to agree.

Funny thing... the other day when we took these photos, Liv walked in pointing to her little ponytail spike saying, "please, please" (really more EEEeeese?  EEEeeese?") so I gave that a little curl too.  Watch out baby Evan- I sense your sisters are going to spend a loooong time in the bathroom getting ready!

Love Day!

Our family had a wonderful Valentines Day.  The girls and I tried out a new sugar cookie recipe (fluffy soft cookie) with sour cream in the batter.  The only downfall is that you have to really work quickly rolling out the dough or it gets sticky quickly!  I think it was worth the effort though!

Liv had a pretty good time during the cookie cutting/decorating... she was not very helpful with the decorating process, so we just kept trying to distract her by feeding her cookie after cookie.  No exaggeration, she ate about 4 cookies in an hour.

Here's the first bite of a decorated cookie- they were really tasty!

We put together little plates for some neighbors and had a good time spreading the love around.  Jillian was a HUGE fan of delivering Christmas Cookies and has anxiously been waiting for Valentines Day ever since (because I told her it was the next time we could make/deliver cookies).  Neighbors:  I've a feeling you have some green shamrocks headed your way in the near future.  She's hooked!

Ryan made dinner for our family- a heart shaped pizza from Papa Johns.  Cute.

And we ended the day with pink bath water, and a pink shaving cream heart on the wall:

 Our little model:

There were heart shaped PBJ's for lunch too, but I didn't get a photo.  Jillian, Ryan and Liv also got little heart candy treats, and the girls and I were spoiled by Ryan with a HUGE bouquet of flowers.  I LOVE Valentines Day, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE our family!  Click HERE to see all the photos.

Tea Party, anyone?

This weekend the girls had a chance to go to a tea party.  It was fabulous.  In honor of the event, I decided to curl both of their hair.  Oh My Goodness.  Having girls is a lot of fun!
