Jillian tries Peanut Butter!

The rule on feeding Peanuts to your kids is widely debated.  For us, it was recommended we wait to introduce Jillian to all nuts until she was at least 2 years old.  A lot of people only wait until the age of 1, but since I have a mild walnut allergy, we took it slow.

So...  Today was the big day.  We wanted to give it to her in the morning on a weekday in case she had any problems so it would be easy to bring her in to the doctor if necessary.

Jillian ate the 1st 1/4 of her PB&J quickly and said, "I like it!" but when Ryan and I stopped watching for her reaction, she smooshed the next 1/4 and rejected the other two squares.  Oh well.  So it was not a Jillian favorite right off the bat.

More importantly, when checking her out for a rash or any other problems throughout the day, she came up clean.

So- I guess we are a peanut friendly house again.  Until September anyway when Liv enters the picture!
