Ring around the Rosie...

Whenever we go to story time at the library, the whole group holds hands and does, 'Ring Around the Rosie'.  This is Jillian's favorite part of story time.  The cutest thing is when we are at home on the bed (or on any squishy surface) if you sing, "Ashes, Ashes..."  she will fall flat on her belly.  She does not even bend her knees, or put her hands down- totally fearless.  It's so funny.

So, the other day when we went to Silver Star Gymnastics for toddler open gym, she had a blast flopping onto her belly on the trampolines.  And, as a result, I sang Ring Around the Rosie about 30 times.

As a side note, I learned a 'second verse' to this song at the library...  "Cows are in the meadow, eating buttercups... Ashes, Ashes, we all stand up!"  Have you ever heard that before?

Yes, love the second verse! Lily always sings it, it's easier on my knees...
