I'm pretty darn glad this guy is my husband because aside from being my best friend, and a great guy, he is the other half of our beautiful children, and he's an amazing father too. What more can a girl ask for?
Reason #1 I'm the luckiest girl in the world this Mother's Day?
And, reason #2?
I'm soaking it all in, and 99% of the time, I'm having an absolute blast. Aside the days of endless fever and doing laundry, this Mom thing is really amazing. ;) I'm doing exactly what I wanted to be doing right now, and I feel so fortunate!
Our happy family- makes me so proud to look at this photo!

To sum up how I feel with one photo?
Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful Mom's I know! Particularly my own sweet Mom who was and is such a wonderful example to me of how to be a Mom. Love you, Mommy!
Oh, I have to document this so I won't forget... This morning we snuggled in bed and read books for a little while before getting ready to go to the golf course for brunch. Ryan and the girls picked out a photo backdrop for me for Mother's Day- it's a big stand with a black muslim drop, and a white one too. I can't wait to really get into using it- I'll post some pics of that soon!
The golf course brunch was amazing. I was able to choose from make your own omelets, waffles with fresh fruit, shrimp and grits, bagels & lox/cream cheese, eggs benedict, sushi, sausage/bacon/potatoes, coffee/tea and an extensive dessert bar. Sounds amazing, right?
Well, I failed to mention the rack of lamb, prime rib, and grilled in front of you lobster, and sword fish too. Seriously? At BRUNCH??!!! I was THRILLED. The sword fish was the best I have ever had. Ryan and I WAY over ate, and it was totally worth it! Thanks for the great brunch babe! It was fantastic!
