Just after my Dad got here, we got about 6 inches of snow. That means sledding! Jillian and Grandpa enjoyed this activity, but Liv... in a word? She HATED it. Poor little thing! I think she was a little hungry & tired, and really just didn't understand why someone would want to stuff themselves into a bunch of clothing that completely restricts your movement and hang out in the cold. :) She ended up having a little bit of fun (thanks to some fellow Moms we went with who hoisted her up and down a small part of the hill) but still would have preferred skipping it this year, I think.

Another thing we've been working on is a dollhouse for the girls. I saw a picture of the perfect dollhouse online, but I could not find it to purchase. So, I sent the idea to my Dad and asked if he could come up with something. He spent hours working on it in NV, and planning how to make this work... then, he brought the pieces here to finish up with Jillian and I. It's a big project, and we're still chipping away at it... I hope to have it done sometime in the next year (haha...) and I'll share photos of the completed product soon.

The next activity I took photos of was making our own play dough. We sat for hours playing with our nice fresh purple blob:

And finally, tonight we made our own pizza. Jillian has a book called 'Grandpa and Me' where they make pizza and this kind of thing is right up my Dad's alley, so it was the perfect activity. We all enjoyed this yummy dinner! (yes, we made that 'chef hat' for my Dad)

I noticed Liv was not a fan of snow. I laughed outloud seeing her protest so well documented!
How fun! Your girls are lucky to have such a fun and sweet grandpa to come visit them and do all those fun activities with them :)
Nancy ~ I loved your pics. Esp. sledding. I didn't know that angel face LIv was capcable of such displeasure :) She did not look like a happy campeer ~ but I think she's adorable and if she's intersted in younger guys a certain chicago boy may be intersted ;)
