Diagnosis... Roseola

As I mentioned in the post prior to this, Jillian was sick for nearly a week. She started last Sunday with a high fever, and didn't shake it until the middle of the night on Thursday. It was scary. We went to the doctor a couple of times, but there was no explanation for what she had. Until.... about 30 hours after her fever broke, and she was suddenly covered with tiny red dots. From head to toe. They don't hurt, itch or bother her at all but man does it look awful! You may have to click on the above photo to make it larger if you can't see her rash, but especially in the one marked shoulders- look at her neck and cheek... poor thing!

And, even though she looks a little rough around the edges right now, I am so SO happy to have a diagnosis for what was wrong! That's a huge sigh of relief for me!

Now, cross your fingers for us that Liv didn't pick it up!!!!
