Craft Time

Given the chance, Jillian would do "craft time" for all her free time. Particularly, she loves scissors. Cutting anything. We have a scrap bag of paper with a pair of little scissors in it, and I give her a cookie sheet for her to snip tiny pieces off onto. When it's time to clean up, she decides which ones are big enough to "still be cutting pieces" (those go in the bag) and "little enough to be trash" (those go on the cookie sheet). This can consume hours of her time, and I've gotta say, is pretty darn easy for me! It's awesome. I used to set her up with other paper, glue, & markers along with the scissors until I realized they were just contributing to the mess, and not the end result. So, just scissors and paper. Cut cut cut cut.....

Here we are at a MOMS Club event. We have such a great group of ladies to spend our free time with. We're exploring different crafts at our 'Fall Festival' and my friend Karen was nice enough to get a candid shot of me with the girls. As much as I like posed photos, it's so nice to have a few pics of me interacting with the girls too!

Thanks, Karen!
